Purifying Mixtures

We completed a science experiment where we needed to turn rock salt into pure salt. We used all the processed that we had learnt over the unit of work. First we added water so the salt would dissolve. Then we poured the mixture through filter paper to take out any impurities. We were then left with a salt water solution. We then places this in a warm place so that the water evaporated and we were left with the salt on the plate.
