World Book Day

Year 5 had a great day for World Book Day and all looked fabulous dressed up. Our book was Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll. In the morning we completed some creative writing about the potion that Alice drinks and we came up with an alternative ending. In the afternoon we worked collaboratively to paint the characters from the book as well as make our own card army like the Queen of Hearts has. Congratulations to Katie who won our class prize for her costume although Mrs Oldfield was very impressed with the effort that everyone had gone to!
