Today the children completed their final Play Leader training session, in readiness to become Playground Pals. In groups of 3, they each led an activity as if they were working with the younger children in school at playtime.
We carried out an investigation into the factors affecting the growth of yeast during our science lesson this week. The children observed the growth of yeast and collected Carbon Dioxide given off during the fermentation process.
The children devised a series of questions to ask Reverend Gill about her life and role in the church. It was very interesting to hear the responses from Reverend Gill, which the children duly noted for their work in RE.
The children collected leaves from the school grounds and classified them according to their shape.
The children performed an assembly for the whole school. The main theme was the importance of caring for our planet and God’s creation.
