Barn Owls!
We have loved learning all about Barn Owls, reading the story of Plop the Barn Owl who was afraid of the dark, researching Barn owls and then writing reports about them, sketching and paining pictures of them.
Fruit Face Pancakes!
We really enjoyed studying the artist Guiseppe Arcimboldo and looking at how he created portraits out of fruits and vegetables. We designed our own fruit face pancakes and then made them. They were delicious!
Partitioning
In Maths, we have worked hard on our place value knowledge. We can partition numbers into tens and ones!
Firework Art
We experimented with 4 different methods of creating firework art: printing, chalk, oil pastels and paint splattering/flicking! It was great fun!
