We had a wonderful time visiting St Mary's Church at The Baum. It is a magnificent church and we loved being able to see the features of the church up close. We got even got to stand where the vicar stands - in the pulpit!
We have been sewing pieces of fabric together using a running stitch to create a fabric picture. We are then going to either glue or sew decorations onto our fabric.
In Science we are learning about plants. We began by looking at plants and then choosing a plant to sketch and label.
To complete our Drip Drip Drip topic, we completed some river scenes using charcoal. We thought about how to show the movement of the water as well as reflections in it. It was a bit messy but we were happy with our finished pieces.
We have been learning about why baptism is special to Christians. Today Reverend Gill visited us and baptised our dolly Mckenzie. We had parents, godparents and friends and family at the special service. We really enjoyed the baptism service and we thank Reverend Gill very much for visiting us!
We has a visit from Waffle the dog. We were very excited and we had a great time learning all about how to look after a dog. We stroked Waffle, threw the ball for him and watched Waffles clever tricks. Thak you so much for visiting us Waffle, we hope that you love all the cards and pictures that we made for you.
