We all looked amazing dressed up for World Book Day! Can you guess which characters we are?
In science this term we found out about our bodies. We drew round our friends and then added all their features to create life size images. We also learned about our 5 senses, hearing, seeing, tasting, smelling and touch.
We have been working hard using maps of the world and using vocabulary relating to directions. We had to program the Beebots to move to the place we wanted them to get to
As part of our computing topic we are learning about cryptography. We looked at using semaphore and Morse code. Here you can see us having a go with semaphore flags. We decided that this was quite a difficult method of communication.
We have been reading the book “Oliver’s vegetables”. We used potatoes to print with.
As part of our science topic ‘All Change’ we looked at the chemical change when we add a solid to a liquid. We decided which ones gave us the best reaction and added those to our rocket to launch. Unfortunately the weather stopped us from going outside but we did find it amusing when our rockets hit the ceiling in the classroom.
